A couple of words about me

My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport. (Steve McCurry)

​Since the technological progress introduced us to cell phones with cameras, my days were filled with a never-ending shooting of casual and absolutely uninteresting moments. Often I used to take multiple pictures of the same place over and over, then browsed the photos and kept thinking what could have been better. My desire to freeze the moments of life was getting stronger until it led me to the more advanced technologies. I got my first dslr camera as a Christmas present. Ever since I had been a half-baked apprentice, a curious theft of time which needs to be preserved for the future. The passion for photography merged with my love for nature and traveling, providing me with the basis of the central theme – landscape. As the time went on I began to experiment with macro shots, portraits, and night photography. All this to broaden my scope, learn from my mistakes and to go further and further with each new picture.

Hobby or job, photography has become my credo and purpose of life. It makes me happy to involve others into this process. Because as I believe, photography is not created inside the camera but rather in front of it…
